We just received a wonderful gift from my inlaws; a 8 day vacation at Disney. We' ll be staying at the Coronado from Feb11-18. I have a 6 and 8 year old. Do you have any sugg on which parks to head to first-Is it too late to make dining reservations

Indeed that is a wonderful gift.....wow!!!!

It is never too late to attempt to make some dining reservations. You might not be able to get your first choice of times or restaurants but I have eaten almost everywhere on property and have had wonderful experiences at each with and without children.  Don't hesitate to check with the restaurant on the day you are in the parks to see about availability as well.

The dining reservation number is: 407-939-3463

Make a rough plan for the parks you wish to visit on each day and try to coordinate your dining so you are not moving back and forth across property. This not only wastes time but is exhausting! You will have plenty of time to see all four parks so look at the calendar and see if any of them will have the extra morning or evening hours as you might consider seeing them during those times.  For a 6 and 8 year old the Magic Kingdom will need to be sooner then later.  There is no park more magical for children then this one!

Use the Disney website to become as familiar as possible with each park and your resort. (www.disneyworld.com) You will have lots of time to enjoy the pool, or take a special boat cruise, or perhaps reserve for the Family Fun tour of the Magic Kingdom.  The possibilities for fun are endless!

    Enjoy!!!
