We have received an upgrade option, however I am unsure what to do. We are currently booked in the new POR Princess room (10 day stay) ... we have been offered to switch to AKL or WL for a very minimal fee. What would you do????

    Hi Melissa!

That's a difficult dilemma, but one completely sprinkled with loads of Pixie Dust! I can understand wanting to stay in one of the new Royal Guest Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. However, given the choice of an upgrade to a Disney Deluxe Resort Hotel I believe I would definitely opt for that instead, particularly if the additional cost of the upgrade is only negligible. Now the tough question is which one to upgrade to. I absolutely love both Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (AKL) and Disney's Wilderness Lodge (WL)! I guess it would depend on what type of room you are being upgraded to. If you get a Savanna Room at AKL, then take that option. On the other hand if you are being offered a Courtyard View Room at WL I would opt for that one instead. WL is located in the Magic Kingdom Area and is so nice to be able to catch the water launch that takes you to Magic Kingdom for Rope Drop! I hope I didn't make the decision more difficult for you. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.

Enjoy a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
