Hi, Heather! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!
Sounds like you have received a great tip! We never travel to the Disneyland Resort without water bottles for the whole family. It's very important to stay hydrated as you tour the parks in warm weather. There are
drinking fountains located throughout both parks to refill your water bottles or you can ask for a free cup of ice water at any quick service dining location as well. Feel free to bring in any type of water bottle - plastic, hyrdo flasks, hydration back packs, etc. - as long as the bottle isn't made of glass you are good to go!
In addition to water, you are also welcome to bring in some snacks. We love to fill our backpack with granola bars, fruit leathers, apple slices, suckers, and crackers. Touring the parks can sure work up an appetite and it seems my daughter is constantly hungry whenever we visit! There are also several
fresh fruit carts in the parks that sell a variety of fresh produce and prepackaged snacks. I am particularly fond of the pineapple spears, pickles, and hummus with pretzels.
I hope this helps! See ya real soon!
