Hey, there Romualdo, and welcome to planDisney. A
Walt Disney World Resort vacation has so many moving parts. From theme park attractions to delicious smells on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom Park to the balloon vendors and parades, every bit of magic must be perfect.
We definitely want your son to have an enchanted adventure and if he is like my boys, they were not interested in princesses until, well, middle school. They only wanted "boy" things including the characters on the Key to the World cards.
Tickets are assigned by age so if he is between the ages of 3-9 years old he will need to use the ticket assigned to him as it will not work for an adult.
This is what I have done in the past. Before you enter your first theme park, visit a ticket window outside the entrance or at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs and explain that your son really wanted a character other than a princess. They will do their best to help you out.
planDisney Pro Tip: If you are not able to swap out the card just write his name on the back of the one he wants but use his assigned one to tap into the theme parks.
Romualdo, I hope this information helps you and your baby boy on your next Disney adventure. Please feel free to
write me back directly with any follow-up questions.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
