Hello there, Wynisha! Welcome to planDisney. We appreciate you coming to planDisney to ask us a question about your expired ticket.
You are not alone in your situation! We've had many Guests wonder what they can do with tickets that expired due to the park closures or needing to wait to return because of health and safety concerns. I have good news to share. If your ticket is wholly unused, you can use the purchase price of that ticket towards a new ticket according to the
eTicket Terms and Conditions. You can do this at a Main Entrance Ticket Booth at Disneyland Resort. If you have any questions about your ticket type and what you need to get your expired ticket purchase put towards a new ticket, I recommend reaching out to
Ticket Services.
I also wanted to make you aware of some changes that have been implemented since the park has reopened. Now in addition to having a ticket, you also need to make a theme park reservation in order to enter the parks. You can do this online or in the Disneyland app. You will need to pick a date that is available and then pick the park you want to visit. If your ticket is a Park Hopper, you will choose what park you want to start in and then after 1:00 p.m., you will be able to begin park hopping.
Once you have your ticket and theme park reservation, you will be good to go! Then you can start thinking about the details like if you want book a
dining reservation, which can be done 60 days out from your park date.
Wynisha, I hope this information gets you one step closer to walking down Main Street, U.S.A. Come back and visit us again if you have any other planning questions!
