Don’t you just love getting “Mickey Mail”?!?! Anytime I get my cruise booklet in the mail it’s so exciting because it signals that the cruise is fast approaching!! Time to start organizing and packing!! (Or so I tell myself, but it usually doesn’t happen until right before, but one can try, right?!?)
The
gratuities that you have prepaid go directly to your stateroom host or hostess and your dining room servers (head server, dining room server and assistant server). These are the individuals you will see countless times during your time onboard and they will do everything they can to make your cruise as magical and memorable as possible. Near the conclusion of your sailing you will receive small envelopes that you can deposit any additional money and gift to those individuals if you choose to do so. This is not necessary, but completely optional.
If you make any onboard beverage service purchases (by the pool or at a lounge), there will be an automatic 15% gratuity added to that bar tab which will be charged to your stateroom account. If you are planning on indulging in any of the luxurious
spa treatments available onboard, please note that there will also be an automatic 18% gratuity for those services as well. Room Service is included with your reservation fare, but we always like to bring some small bills with us to tip the Cast Member that delivers us our food.
