We just received a special offer for free DP from Disney.Last day of arrival is Oct. 4 to take part in DP. I am not sure if I can have that day off from work. Can I book and pay for my arrival on Oct. 4-will reserv. be held if I dont arrive until Oct.5?Thx

    Hi Holly,

You can certainly pay for a resort stay on October 4, even if you can't arrive until the 5th.  Once you've paid for a room, it's yours.  However, depending on the length of your stay, free dining might not be worth the cost of an extra night.

I recommend doing online check-in 10 days prior to your arrival.  You'll want to put down that your arrival date will be the 4th.  You also may want to contact your resort directly and let them know that your actual arrival date will be one day later, if that's the case, so they know to set your check-in packet aside.  I think it will make your actual check-in process much smoother.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
