Hi Susan,
Can you believe it? You are going to be visiting Walt Disney World in just one month! I must say that you picked a fabulous time to visit, because
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana opens just after you arrive. This brand new attraction is located in EPCOT which is also currently hosting the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE, so there are two great reasons to dedicate some of your time to visiting EPCOT during your vacation.
It sounds like you are trying to
connect all of your Friends & Family in your
My Disney Experience account or
My Disney Experience App. It's a good idea to be connected with all of your friends and family who will be vacationing together and not just who will be sharing accommodations. The best way to make sure your whole group is connected, regardless of where everyone will be lodging, is to make sure everyone has their own
My Disney Experience account and then send an invitation to connect with each person. Once you are connected, you can visit your Friends & Family list and then select "Update" beside their name to enable the sharing of all of your plans as well as your Disney PhotoPass photos.
Susan, I have a large family and we often travel together and we usually have two or more separate Disney Resort hotel room reservations to accommodate all of us during our stay. We are able to see all of our group's plans as well as keep our plans straight by connecting as Friends & Family in our My Disney Experience accounts. By being connected with everyone in your travel group, everyone will still have autonomy over their own account and plans but you will be able to make plans for each other such as making
Advanced Dining Reservations or even making
Disney Genie+ Service selections.
I hope this information helps you with your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation planning. As you continue making your upcoming holiday plans, please come back and visit us here at
planDisney with all of your questions. We are always here to help you plan your next Magical adventure!
See Ya Real Soon,
Brenda
