Hi there, Cherie!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks so much for stopping by to ask us a question. Your magical vacation will be here before you can say “bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!”
Disney Gift Cards have a lot of great uses, especially when you’re planning to visit
The Happiest Place on Earth, because they can be used for purchases on
disneystore.com ahead of your trip as well as to buy Disneyland Resort
theme park tickets.
A maximum of $1,000 in Disney Gift Card funds per transaction can be used as a method of payment when purchasing tickets online. If you’ll be using multiple Disney Gift Cards, be sure to combine them onto just one card in advance online via
disneygiftcard.com to streamline the payment process because you won’t be able to apply several separate gift cards at checkout. Creating an account and registering your gift cards online is also a smart way to protect your money in case a physical card is ever misplaced because you’ll be able to transfer the funds to a different card.
Once you arrive at the Disneyland Resort, a Disney Gift Card can be used to buy almost everything Disney-related, like food, beverages, and merchandise at the theme parks and the
Disneyland Resort Hotels! Please note that some of the restaurants and shops in the
Downtown Disney District are owned by other companies that don’t accept the Disney Gift Card. However, you can use it to pay at locations that are owned by Disney, such as Disney Home and World of Disney.
I hope this helps, Cherie, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted vacation! Please feel free to
write back with any other questions you can dream of.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
