I received the magicbands for a reservation that I ended up having to reschedule. How do I link my magicbands to my new reservation?

Hello Annie, and thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to hEar that you were able to reschedule your magical trip.

MagicBands truly have magical powers. Once they are linked to your My Disney Experience account, they will stay active until you deactivate them or the battery expires. Don’t worry, the batteries are good for at least two or three years. This will allow you to use the same MagicBand on future visits to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you would like to check and see if a MagicBand is still active, sign in to your My Disney Experience account and click on the “MagicBands and Cards” tab. There you will see a list of all of your active and inactive MagicBands or cards assigned to you. If you need to make a band active again, simply click on it to update its status.

If your new reservation is linked to your My Disney Experience account, you will receive another complimentary MagicBand. You can place that order by clicking “get started” at the top of the “MagicBands and Cards” tab. You can opt to customize the color of these MagicBands and personalize them with your name or nickname. Just be sure to complete your order by the deadline, otherwise you will receive the default gray MagicBand. Both sets of MagicBands will be active during your trip. I love to color coordinate my wardrobe with my existing and new MagicBands. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
