Hi Toni!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It's always a pleasure to answer questions from my fellow Guests from the UK, and I'm happy to see that you are making plans for your next holiday to Walt Disney World Resort. My Disney Experience is so useful when linking all our plans and reservations and is such a handy tool for keeping everything together. If you are referring to
MagicBands, if you have selected these through My Disney Experience they will automatically be linked to your reservation and will be ready for you to collect from the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel (MagicBands are not mailed out to International addresses). Disney Resort hotel check-in guidelines have been updated for the forthcoming phased re-opening of Walt Disney World Resort and it is advised that we check-in by using My Disney Experience either online, or by using the app, and when our room is ready we will receive a room-ready notification. We can then use the app as a digital key to enter our room. You can return to the Front Desk at any time to collect your MagicBand.
If you are unable to link your
Ultimate tickets (exclusively available to UK Guests), you can link them by going to My Disney Experience online - click on My Plans, then Park Tickets, Link Tickets. You will need a Disney Confirmation Number which you will have if you purchased your tickets from the Walt Disney Travel Company International, or you will need to request this from any other UK Tour Operator. Enter this number and your tickets will be linked to your reservation. If you prefer to use the app, click on Tickets and Passes, tap on the (+) sign in the top right corner and you'll see where to enter your ID Code to link your tickets.
It is recommended, at this time, to link your tickets as soon as you are able to do so, as you will need both a valid admission ticket and a park reservation to enter any theme park when the parks re-open. Park reservations will need to be made via My Disney Experience in the coming weeks, but admission tickets will be required to enable you to do this. Park reservations will be required for all confirmed tickets through 2020.
We may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our holidays to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience. Please read this information about
Returning to a World of Magic, and keep your eye on any new posts from the
Disney Parks Blog as more official details are announced.
We know you have many questions about what this all means for your upcoming visit. Please know we are working to be able to answer your questions as quickly as possible, and we look forward to providing an update as soon as we have more information to share. Come back and ask as many questions as you like! We are always happy to help you plan your holiday.
Sue
