    Hi, We just received our Magic Bands for our vacation in July. I still want to purchase the memory maker on my Disney account. Do I have to manually put in the magic bands or will it automatically do it? Thank you.

Your vacation is getting close and I'm sure you are counting down the sleeps until your magical trip begins. Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog as you finalize your plans to get the latest news and announcements about the fun you have during your vacation!

    Memory Maker is a fantastic addition to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation because you can capture and save all of the memories you make together during your trip. When you purchase Memory Maker, it will automatically be linked to your My Disney Experience account, giving you access to all of the pictures and videos that you take with the MagicBand linked to your account, as well as the MagicBands of all of the members of your Friends & Family List. If members of your group manage their own My Disney Experience accounts, be sure that they enable the option to share their Disney PhotoPass photos with you in their Friends & Family List. As long as everyone in your group is a member of your Friends & Family List and photo sharing is enabled, then once you purchase Memory Maker, you will be able to view and download everyone's photos!

    Keep in mind that if you purchase Memory Maker, then only your My Disney Experience account will be able to download all of the pictures and videos from everyone in your group using your Memory Maker entitlement. However, you are free to share your pictures and videos as you choose or even have them printed professionally!

    Be sure to purchase your Memory Maker entitlement at least 3 days in advance of your trip to take advantage of the advanced purchase discount. Also, you definitely want to download the My Disney Experience mobile app because it's the easiest way to download your vacation photos during your trip!
