We just received our magic bands for an Aug visit. If we change any dining plans between now and arrival, how does that information get loaded into our bands? Will we need to take our bands somewhere to have the information updated?

    Hello Stacy!

Congratulations on receiving your MagicBands!  They are such an exciting part of the vacation planning process.  When that magical box arrives, you know it's almost time to start your adventure.

Don't worry about making changes to your existing plans, it won't affect the MagicBands at all.  Your information and reservations are not actually stored in the MagicBand, but rather it is associated with you as a Guest and linked to your plans through My Disney Experience.  You have the flexibility of changing and updating your FastPass+ selections, dining reservations and the like at any time before and during your magical vacation.

You can find many more answers to your MagicBand questions through the online Help Center. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with, Stacy.  Enjoy your Walt Disney World vacation.

    Magical Wishes,

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family: graduations, pregnancies, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, reunions, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon. I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help add a little extra Pixie Dust to your next magical adventure. Learn More About Lauren
