I received a letter containing Resort Ticket Media attached. Later our Magic Bands arrived. I dont need the Ticket Media with me on my trip do I if I am wearing my magic band?

Hi, Tammy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

In the past, although I properly linked my Disney Theme Park tickets to my My Disney Experience account, my MagicBand malfunctioned and did not work at the Magic Kingdom Park turnstiles. Luckily, I had brought my ticket cards as a back-up that day ( I don’t usually) and Cast Members at Guest Relations were quickly able to rectify the issue. Had I not brought my cards, it would have taken much longer! That being said, might I recommend always bringing your hard copy tickets with you, if you have them. Chances are you probably won’t need them, but they don’t take up much room and it’s always better to be safe than sorry, as my mother always said!

Did you know that your MagicBand can also collect all of your favorite memories through Disney’s PhotoPass Service? A quick scan of your MagicBand by a Disney PhotoPass photographer will allow you to purchase and manage all of those great shots! With MemoryMaker, you can have instant access to every single PhotoPass photo taken, as well as some extra special video footage from select attractions!

    Have a magical vacation!
