Hello there, Stephanie!
Thank you so much for visiting us here at planDisney! That was a very thoughtful gift for someone to give you a MagicBand. I performed an internet search and found a Limited Release Dooney & Bourke Lady and the Tramp MagicBand 2 on
shopdisney.com.
The Disneyland Resort currently only supports
MagicBand+. If your Band is the same as the one listed above, it would not be supported by the
Disneyland Mobile App. The MagicBand 2 is still in use at Walt Disney World, so you would be able to use it over there. Just in case, you can review these
instructions on how to link your MagicBand to the Disneyland App. If you are still unable to link them, it is likely that you have an unsupported Band. I would still encourage you to look into the MagicBand+. The
Disney Parks Blog posted an article highlighting the features of the MagicBand+ recently and it does add a lot of convenience to your visit. I know several people who keep a whole collection of MagicBands and use them to accessorize their outfit when visiting the Parks! MagicBand+ may be purchased at
these locations while on property.
Stephanie, I hope you've been able to use this information. Personally, I love my MagicBand+, and I make sure it's in my bag whenever I visit the Parks. From using it to play
Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters to easily scanning it at Park entrance and Lightning Lanes, it really enhances my experience at the Parks. If there is anything else we can do for you, please feel free to write to us again at planDisney!
