Hi Mary!
As you already know, several areas at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will be undergoing refurbishment starting in May. As part of that refurbishment, the Quick Service dining location, Old Port Royale Food Court, will be closed to Guests. During this time, a dining location called Centertown will be serving a Caribbean-style buffet breakfast, and will offer a la carte offerings for dinner. Three new island markets, located in the Aruba, Jamaica and Martinique sections of the resort, will have grab-and-go meals for purchase. (In-Room Dining will continue to be available during refurbishment.)
I spoke with a Cast Member this morning who confirmed that the breakfast and dinner offerings at Centertown will use one (1) Quick Service entitlement on the Disney Dining Plan.
I'm happy to hear you'll be using the
Disney Dining Plan on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It's such a great money and time saver! My family loves the convenience of having our meals prepaid and taken care of before we travel, and it's so nice not to have to pull out our wallets every time we eat. With over 100 dining locations to choose from throughout Walt Disney World, we can always find somewhere awesome to eat to please everyone in the family!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question - please let us know if you have further questions before your trip. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
