We received some generous Disney gift cards for a wedding gift, are we able to use those gift cards to pay for our room at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels?

    Greetings Lauree!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Congratulations on your fairy tale wedding. I can't wait for you to celebrate your marriage at the Disneyland Resort. It also sounds like you received the most perfect gift: the gift of Disney magic! I absolutely love the freedom of Disney Gift Cards. They can be used not only at Disney Stores and shopDisney.com but also almost anywhere on Disneyland Resort property. I have used my Disney Gift Cards for dining and merchandise, but you are also more than welcome to use them to pay for park tickets and Disneyland Resort Hotel rooms.

When you book and check in to your Disneyland Resort Hotel, you will need to give a credit card number for deposit, incidentals, and tax, but at check out you may pay for your room balance with your Disney Gift Card.

No matter which hotel you choose, know you will create memories that will last a lifetime. The cozy yet luxurious atmosphere of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, though, is probably my top recommendation for a romantic getaway. Plus you can easily pop into one of my favorite restaurants on property, Napa Rose.

I hope this helps and wishing you a happily ever after!
