Hi, Paulette! We are happy to see you have returned to planDisney before your adventure at sea. Thank you for trusting us with your plans.
A Disney Cruise Line vacation uniquely blends family-friendly adventures and enchanting experiences for kids. Imagination takes center stage in the youth clubs, and best of all, your 10-year-old will have a few places he can explore.
Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are two dedicated spaces for children ages 3-10. I recommend attending Open House hours in the youth clubs on the first day to explore the incredible spaces together. You can also visit the tween club, Edge.
On my last sailing aboard the Disney Dream, my ten-year-old could join the tweens in Edge with my permission. I had to sign a waiver, and they gave him a sticker to put on his Key to the World Card. Just so you know, this option might not be available depending on how many tweens are sailing on your cruise.
Make sure you download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you set sail. The app will list the Daily Activity Schedule for your cruise. This way, your son can pick and choose the enchanting adventures taking place in the youth clubs that appeal to him the most. While your junior sailors are learning to be an Avenger, playing games, and meeting fellow passengers, you can unwind in the serene adult-exclusive areas and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation.
Here's to a voyage brimming with laughter, joy, and a treasure trove of magical memories. Please stop by and see us again. We are always delighted to help!
SEAS the adventure!
