We just received Disney Travel Company luggage tags in the mail but we have already booked MCO 2 Disney for transportation. Should we not put these tags on our luggage?

    Hiya Kristina,

Welcome to planDisney! Can you believe you are less than two weeks from your magical vacation? Around this time, I like to get my packing list finalized and plan what lightning lanes I want to get so I can head off to the airport stress-free.

Speaking of packing, I’m so excited you received your complimentary luggage tags for booking your vacation package! I recently received mine for my upcoming trip, and my toddler was so happy to see the cute subtle nods to her favorite dog, Pluto. Kristina, since the Magical Express is no longer operating, there is also no longer corresponding luggage service from Orlando International Airport to the Walt Disney World resort hotels. The luggage tags previously indicated that your bags should be transferred to your hotel, but now they are just fun decorations. So feel free to add them to your luggage for your trip if you want.

I hope that this was helpful, Kristina. Before I let you go, the weather is supposed to be beautiful during your trip, and I’m sure it will be a welcome break from the NY cold. Don’t forget to pack a light jacket or sweatshirt with you for your trip, though; I’ve always found it useful when the sun goes down in Orlando during the winter months. I also pack a blanket for the fireworks shows; I have little Mouseketeers, so it is always nice to wrap them in a blanket while we wait for the show. Please come back and see us if you need anything!

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
