I received a Disney Gift card by email. Where can I redeem it for a physical card?

    Hi Dennis!

Thank you for visiting planDisney with your question. Congratulations on receiving a Disney Gift Card—it’s such a magical way to enhance your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

If you would like to redeem your emailed Disney Gift Card for a physical card, you can visit a Disney retail location, such as the Emporium at Magic Kingdom Park, World of Disney at Disney Springs, or a merchandise shop at your Disney Resort hotel. Simply present the digital gift card (either on your phone or printed out) to a Cast Member and request to transfer the balance to a physical Disney Gift Card. They’ll be happy to assist you, though availability of physical cards may vary.

Alternatively, your emailed Disney Gift Card can be easily added to your Apple Wallet if you’re using an iPhone or Apple Pay. Once added, you can use it directly from your phone for purchases at most locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort, including merchandise shops, dining locations, and kiosks. Apple Pay is widely accepted, making it an incredibly convenient option if you prefer to keep things digital.

Here’s a helpful tip: if you decide to keep your gift card in digital format, make sure to have the barcode and card number readily accessible, as these are needed for scanning and verification during transactions.

I hope this answers your question, Dennis! If you have any other questions as you prepare for your magical adventure, feel free to stop by planDisney again.

Have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World Resort!
