Will I receive my theme park tickets after my Disney World package is paid in full? Or do I have to wait until a few days before the trip is set to begin?

Hey there, Paige, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad to chat with you today about your Walt Disney World vacation package for next year! I love bundling my Disney Resort hotel stay with my Theme Park Tickets and even adding a Disney dining plan to make my magical vacation plans feel even more inclusive! It's also a great way to budget once for all the pieces of your trip!

Paige, when you book a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, your tickets will show up in your My Disney Experience account and on your My Disney Experience mobile app right away, but because they are date-based tickets connected to your package, they will not become active until the first day they are eligible for use (the date of your Disney Resort hotel check-in). You will not receive physical tickets; instead, you can use your preferred method of entry to scan into the parks using your electronic tickets. To see your tickets and to add your tickets to your mobile wallet from the My Disney Experience app, select the three horizontal lines at the bottom right-hand side and then the tile at the top left that says My Tickets and Passes; you should see the Package Ticket for each member of your travel party. When the tickets are active, you will have an option to Save to Wallet. Now you're ready to tap into the magic with your MagicMobile pass, MagicBand, or Key to the World Card (available at the front desk of your Disney Resort hotel).

Paige, since you are planning to stay at a Disney Resort hotel, be sure to explore all of the amazing benefits that come with that choice! From complimentary transportation, an extended booking window for advance dining reservations, and Early Theme Park Entry, immersing yourself in the magic comes with many perks!

One other tip I'll mention since you are planning your 2025 vacation in advance, be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and on the Special Offers page for money-saving promotions that might become available as you countdown to your vacation. If you do find an offer that will work for your travel dates, you can usually modify your reservation online to apply the offer quickly and easily. It's a great surprise when you can save a little money on the magic!

I hope this is helpful, Paige, and I hope you have a great time planning your vacation! If you have any other questions or would like any recommendations for dining, shopping, resorts, or anything else at all, feel free to come back and let me know! You've got a friend in me!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
