Hello Gitanjali! Thanks for reaching out to us again at planDisney.
I absolutely love Disney's Port Orleans Resort, especially
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. I love how it's sprawled out among the Sassagoula River and I loved my time in a
Royal Guest Room. As a huge Princess fan, this was a real treat for me! Plus, you can usually take a
water taxi from this resort to
Disney Springs. Not to mention that
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is not a long walk away. If you decide to visit the sister resort, be sure to get some beignets from either
Scat Cat's Club - Lounge if you want to sit down and enjoy them in a jazz club atmosphere or
Scat Cat's Club - Café if you want to get them on the go! Oh...and did I mention that they're Mickey-shaped?! It's just a fact that anything Mickey-shaped tastes delicious! Okay, maybe that's not a fact, but for me, it's definitely true.
At this time, you can usually send packages to your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel up to a week before your check-in date. So I would recommend looking at the shipping times and plan accordingly. Just note that there is a handling fee per package. Check the
Mail Services page for the most up-to-date pricing and details.
When you are addressing your package, make sure you are using the mailing address of your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, writing the word "Guest" clearly on the front, and including the lead Guest's name on the reservation and the date of your arrival. This will ensure it will get to the correct place as each resort hotel gets many deliveries each day. If you can, I would also purchase tracking so that you can track the progress of your delivery and know when it's been delivered.
For easy reference, the address to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is as follows:
1251 Riverside Drive
Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-8514
Gitanjali, your trip is right around the corner! I hope it's everything you've been dreaming it would be and so much more. Feel free to
reach out directly to me with any other questions.
The magic is calling,
Matt
