Will I receive an itemized list of my purchases made using my Magic Band?

    Hey There, Terry!

I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney.  Thanks for stopping by today with your question!  In addition to the convenience of using your MagicBand to unlock your Disney Resorts Collection hotel room door and access your Walt Disney World theme park admission, I love the convenience of using a MagicBand to make purchases throughout my stay.  Instead of holding up the line as I fumble for my wallet, it's quick and easy to pay for purchases with a tap of my wrist.  But like you, I also like to keep a close eye on exactly what I've purchased throughout my visit, so here's what you'll need to do to see an itemized list of the charges you've made.

During your visit, you'll be able to see a list of charges that have been made to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel room (including all your MagicBand charges) right from the My Disney Experience mobile app.  To find these at any point before you check out, tap on three lines in the bottom-right corner of the screen and select "Resort Hotel" from the menu. Scroll down the page until you see the section that lists your room number –– underneath that, select "View Charges" to see a full list of the purchases you've made.

While I think this is the most convenient way to keep tabs on your spending, this method is only available until you check out of your hotel.  Once that happens, you should receive an email with the subject line, "Your Disney Resort Hotel Receipt".  If you're anything like me, it's not unusual for emails to get overlooked in your inbox, so I recommend doing an inbox search for that subject line if you've already checkout out and still haven't seen your receipt. If you still can't locate your final bill after searching, you can request another copy by sending an email to guest.services.billing@disneyworld.com.  Just be aware that due to the high volume of emails, it usually takes between 7-21 days to receive your statement.  Just to give you a better idea of the timeframe, I looked back through my inbox and when I had to do this for a stay last fall, it took 15 days to get a response.

Thanks again for visiting planDisney, Terry.  I hope this helped to answer your question, but please don't hesitate to stop by again if you need more information –– we're always here to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Amy
