Why hello there Faye, and welcome to planDisney!
When it comes to booking your holiday at Walt Disney World Resort, the way that folks and families traveling here from overseas receive their
theme park tickets may vary depending on what you've purchased (whether it's a ticket-only booking or one that
includes a stay at a Disney Resort Hotel) as well as where you've made your transaction. In fact, certain
Special Offers or Deals aimed at international guests may require you to receive your tickets upon arrival to a Will Call window or a locations like
the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.
Here at planDisney we don't have the ability to look up the status of your booking nor have access to your Disney account (My Disney Experience), so we highly recommend
speaking with a Cast Member tasked to handle bookings and reservations and contacting them directly. They'll be able to walk you through the process of linking your ticket if you're having any difficulty doing so, but the folks at Walt Disney World Resort at
Guest Relations or those found at your
Resort Hotel Front Desk are happy to assist you with
using the My Disney Experience app when you've made it here to Orlando.
Generally speaking according to the folks at the Walt Disney Travel Company,
ticket-only reservations will receive printable e-tickets sent to their email address provided when you made the booking, whereas "for hotel and ticket packages, your travel documents are sent out approximately 14-28 days prior to the departure date." (While this is the information currently available to us, I still recommend contacting them in order to find guidance specific to your holiday booking.)
In the meantime, feel free to come back to planDisney to ask for any other tips or advice when it comes to what you'll experience when you arrive here in October which is sure to be a very busy time filled with all of the happenings of the spookiest season!
Wishing you all the best on sorting out your tickets ahead of your Disney adventure!
