Howdy Nate!
Welcome back to
planDisney. We love it when guests return with their questions. I hope you had a fantastic time during your last visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort and Parks. I know planning your next trip is always exciting, but sometimes unexpected things can happen, and you have to make changes. Let's take a look and make sure we get you an answer to your question.
According to the current
Terms and Conditions Policy for a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package, you can cancel 30 days prior to your arrival without a penalty and receive a refund of your deposit. So you would definitely receive your deposit back if you cancel 291 days before your arrival. You should be able to cancel a reservation on the Walt Disney World website or in the My Disney Experience app. If, for some reason, you run into an issue with either of those, you can always call Tickets and Hotel Reservations, and a friendly cast member will be happy to assist you.
Assuming all goes well, I would love to leave you with a quick vacation planning tip. If you have not already done so, I highly recommend using the Mobile Order feature in the
My Disney Experience app. This feature lets you order your food and schedule a pickup time. I’ve found this to be a huge help when visiting the parks and staying on the move to get in all of the rides and attractions we so look forward to.
Nate, I hope that things go well and you and your family are able to enjoy your next vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any further questions, please stop by planDisney, where my fellow panelists and I will be happy to assist you.
See ya real soon,
Robert
