Ahoy, Jennifer!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you're planning for a high-seas adventure aboard Disney Cruise Line! You will love sailing with Captain Mickey at the helm. Visiting exotic destinations while being surrounded by pixie dust is my favorite way to travel!
Each member of your party will receive something called a "Key to the World" card at the Cruise Terminal while checking in for your cruise. This card will be your stateroom key, onboard charge card and ship identification throughout your cruise! Once your advance booking window opens, you'll be able to complete your Online Check-in. During this process, Guests typically link a credit card to their shipboard account. All charges made on your "Key to the World" card onboard and on
Disney's private island, Castaway Cay (if your itinerary stops there), will then be charged to your credit card on file.
I'm so excited to hear that you're thinking about
decorating your stateroom door! The majority of stateroom doors are metal throughout the four ships in
Disney Cruise Line's fleet! (The Concierge-level stateroom doors aboard the Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream are wooden.) Guests are allowed to decorate their stateroom doors so long as they do not use tape or any adhesive materials. Magnetic signs are a great idea and will be the perfect way to make your home away from home festive and fun!
Jennifer, if you have any other fantastic questions, please sail back and come see us again! We're here to make the planning process a smooth-sailing one!
