How do I rebook. A cruise

Hello, Debbie! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sailing my way with your question!

I wish we were meeting under better circumstances! I know it's never easy to have to make changes to your cruise schedule - we just had to cancel a cruise we had leaving in a few weeks -  but we'll be rebooking ourselves as soon as our schedules clear up, so we'll be going through this process at the same time, Debbie!

If you are rebooking a cruise that you cancelled outright and received a refund for, rebooking is as simple as finding the date, ship, and itinerary that works for your new desired Disney Cruise Line vacation! Once you know your desired sailing, you can simply make the reservation as you would when booking any other cruise either online or by phone! I'd suggest, if you don't have a particular time you're looking to cruise, that you consider waiting for the next batch of sailings to be announced. This way, you'll be sure to get the best price and choose from the widest array of options! We don't know for sure when the next set of itineraries will be released, but historically they have happened around this time of year, so keep a weather eye on the horizon!

Now, if you are looking to rebook a cruise using Future Cruise Credits you have because of a cruise cancellation during the Covid-19 operations suspension, there are a few extra things to consider:
    • All Future Cruise Credits offered due to the COVID-19 operations suspension must be used on or before September 30, 2022. If you are not able to use your Future Cruise Credit, you will be eligible for a refund up to the original amount of your sailing.
    • Future Cruise Credits can be used for either existing reservations OR new ones!
    • While making your new reservation, your Future Cruise Credit will show as a payment method, so be sure to re-book using the same account that made the original reservation.
If you run into any issues while rebooking, I always suggest calling a Disney Cruise Line crew member! I like to call right at 8:00 a.m. Eastern when the lines open to have the best chance of the shortest wait time possible!

Well Debbie, I hope that helps you set a heading for the next step of your adventure! Thank you so much for your question, and if any others persist as you go through the rebooking process, please sail my way again here at planDisney!

Until then, may your anchor be tight and your compass true!
