When I reassign a ticket to another family member for a future visit, will the existing park reservations transfer with it? Thanks

Welcome to planDisney, Philip. We are always excited to help Guests achieve their Disney vacation dreams!

Theme Park Reservations are required for all Guests of the Walt Disney World Resort until January 9, 2024. After that, if you have a date-based ticket, you will no longer need Theme Park Reservations. And guess what else? Starting that same day, if your ticket has the Park Hopper Option added, you won't have to wait until 2 p.m. to hop to another park. You will once again be able to decide when you'd like to visit your next park! Woohoo!

If you have made a Theme Park Reservation with a theme park ticket that has not yet been used (meaning no days have been redeemed), the Theme Park Reservation will not be transferred to another Guest if you assign it to someone else. Theme Park Reservations are usually tied to a Guest, not a ticket. Once transferred, the Guest will have to make their own Theme Park Reservation. Please note that tickets that have been partially used are usually not able to be transferred to other Guests.

Have you been to EPCOT recently? The transformation of this park is almost complete and Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana has opened. This walkthrough attraction is the perfect addition to this park and really allows you to take your time, wander, and explore. My favorite spots are the ones where you can catch a glimpse of Spaceship Earth in the background. I have only experienced it during the day but I hope I'll go back at night when I'm there again in April. Disney Parks always have a special magic at night and I'm sure this experience is no exception.

Philip, if you have any other questions, please reach out and ask!

Now that's a wish well spent,
    Matt
