Welcome to
planDisney, Kimberly!
The short answer to your question about
Theme Park Tickets to
Walt Disney World is
yes!
As long as your ticket has not yet been activated/used for park entrance by anyone, it can be reassigned easily. In fact, I've done just that when one of us has an Annual Pass and gets a Theme Park Ticket that we just don't need as part of a package or other visit.
Simply be sure that the individual to whom you'd like to reassign the unused ticket is in your Family & Friends list in your
My Disney Experience Account. When you look in that account, head to "My Plans". There, you'll see your Plans and Tickets, and can scroll down to the two tabs entitled "Daily Itinerary" and "Tickets & Memory Maker". You'll be able to see that ticket listed there and can reassign it to anyone on your Friends & Family List. Take a look at this post regarding
Tickets - Frequently Asked Questions for more information.
We've found that this is a great option for sharing the magic when someone's plans change. I hope you will, too!
Please be sure to send additional questions our way as you think of them, Kimberly. We love to help!
