When it comes to
MagicBands, it's important to note that once a MagicBand has been linked to a Guest's My Disney Experience account, it is non-transferable and cannot be reassigned to another person. Each band is uniquely tied to that Guest's profile for security and personalization purposes.
However, the good news is that if someone in your travel party needs a new
MagicBand, they can easily purchase one either online through their My Disney Experience account, if you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, at many retail locations across Walt Disney World Resort, including your resort gift shop,
Disney Springs, and the theme parks, or from the
Disney Store website.
If you're using a newer MagicBand+, be sure to charge it before use and pair it with the
My Disney Experience app for interactive features like glowing lights and vibrations during nighttime spectaculars and special park experiences!
