    what is a reasonable spending amount to have for a family of four for a duration of five days

    Hi Felicity,

    That is a tough question.  It all depends on if you are including your meals into your spending money or if you mean gifts and miscellaneous items. 
    If you mean your meals and extra's factor in what you would typically spend eating out and add a little extra for water/drinks and snacks.

    If you mean shopping for extras/gifts, etc-for my kids I always set a budget so they can get something to remember the trip.  Set the budget that you are comfortable with and stick with it.  It can get very tempting seeing so many neat and cool things.

    If you set a budget that you are comfortable with perhaps with a little bit of room to buffer that would be the best way to look at it.
