Hi, Suzie! Or as they say on the planet Batuu, "Bright suns!"
You've chosen the perfect time for your vacation. When you visit the Walt Disney World Resort this fall, you will be able to travel to the planet Batuu and live out your very own Star Wars adventure at
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. I had the opportunity to experience Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge when it opened at Disneyland Resort, and it was nothing short of amazing. Piloting the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy on
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run was a childhood dream come true!
In order to accommodate the many guests wishing to explore Black Spire Outpost when Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, the Walt Disney World Resort will be offering
extra, Extra Magic Hours for a limited time this fall. From September 1 to November 2, 2019, guests staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel will have exclusive access to Disney's Hollywood Studios daily from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. I have not heard of any plans to extend extra, Extra Magic Hours beyond that date, but be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest news and announcements.
I checked the Walt Disney World website, and currently,
Oga's Cantina is listed as opening at 6:00 a.m. through November 2, 2019. Starting on November 3, 2019, the opening time changes to 9:05 a.m. If you're hoping to try an exotic concoction alongside the local bounty hunters and smugglers at Oga's Cantina, be sure to
book your reservations as soon as possible. Before you travel to a galaxy far, far away, you'll also want to download
Star Wars: Datapad on the Play Disney Parks mobile app to further enhance your experience in this highly immersive new land.
May the Force be with you!
