Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I’d be more than happy to help you with adjusting your Family and Friends List.
Once you’re signed into the
My Disney Experience mobile app, select the three lines in the lower right-hand corner. Then scroll down to the line item called “My Profile”. Under “My Account” select the “Family & Friends List” tab and here you should see all of your guests. Select the guest’s duplicate name you’d like to delete and finally select “Remove from My List”. The app is going to ask you to confirm and once you confirm, you should no longer see that second name. If you happen to delete the name associated with that guest's ticket, Hakuna Matata, just reassign it to that guest again using the name on your Family and Friends List.
As you prepare to visit the Walt Disney World Resort in the future, if for any reason you need to share vacation details with a new member of your party, you can now scan their linking code within the app! Under the "My Profile" tab in the My Disney Experience mobile app, if you scroll to the bottom you’ll see “Show My Linking Code”. Once selected, they can show their linking code to you and be added to your Family and Friends List. This is an awesome resource if you’re going to the Theme Parks with guests new to Walt Disney World Resort or new to the My Disney Experience mobile app. You can just scan the linking code, add them to your list, and immediately start sharing plans!
