Hi! We really wanted to have lunch at TREX in DTD on our departure day. Our flight just got moved up to 3:35pm. If we get the earliest time slot of 11am would we be able to make it back to our hotel in time for the DME? We are staying at Saratoga Springs

    Hi Jessica,

Ah, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. Just thinking about the peaceful and beautiful property makes me happy!

I will be the first to admit that I like to create what is possibly a larger-than-necessary time-buffer on our departure day when crafting our plans. With two young daughters and loads of luggage, I normally plan to be back by the Disney's Magical Express pick-up area at least 45-minutes before we are scheduled to be whisked back to Orlando International Airport.

With that in mind, and since Disney's Magical Express schedules your pick-up time three hours before your schedule airline departure, it doesn't look like an early lunch at T-REX is going to be possible for your final day.  Don't worry, though!  Thanks to Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa's convenient location so close to Disney Springs, there are still several other options for your last meal of your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation!

In fact, one of my very favorite quick-service locations in all of Walt Disney World Resort is located not too far from the convenient new walking bridge that connects Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa to the Marketplace Neighborhood of Disney Springs. It's Earl of Sandwich of course! While I know this is quite a departure from a meal at T-REX, you will still have the opportunity to check out the beautiful and exciting Disney Springs, have enjoy a delicious meal, and still catch your comfortable motor coach back to the airport. What a plan!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
