I really wanted to check out the Sci-Fi Dinner theatre but all of the adr are way too late for my family to eat. Can I make an evening adr and just order milkshakes? Also would that count as a snack cradit on the dp? Thanks!

    Hi Lynda!

My son and I love the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater at Hollywood Studios!  We eat there on our every vacation in Walt Disney World!  Yes, you can make an Advanced Dining Reservation at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater and just order milkshakes or just dessert if you want.  Milkshakes are currently $4.99 so a milkshake at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater could qualify as a snack credit.  I would recommend trying for a lunch Advanced Dining Reservation if you don't want to eat late.  Also if you show up right at the restaurant opening which is usually 11:00 am, then you may be able to get a walk up reservation!  I have done this many times and it works great.  I typically pay cash for the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater even if I am on the Disney Dining Plan because it is one of the least expense Table Service restaurants on property.  I save my Table Service Credits for a more expensive meal.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
