We really want to stay at the Polynesian Resort, but the hubby insists on an Arcade.. anyone know the nearest one or even if we can use an arcade at a different resort we aren't staying at?

    Hi Danelle!

Better start packing your bags and looking over the menus of the restaurants, lounges and snack locations of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort because I have great news: you'll have TWO arcades at nearby Walt Disney World Resort Hotels that your whole family is more than welcome to use.

First up is The Game Station Arcade over at Disney's Contemporary Resort. From Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you'll hop on the monorail and hop off at the third stop. The arcade is on the 4th floor next to the entrance of the monorail. If the whole family wants to tag along but not play games, there are two really great shops, a terrific terrace nearby with a great view of Magic Kingdom Park, and my favorite monorail resort quick-service dining location, the Contempo Cafe, all on the same floor. And bonus, you can take in (and touch!) the beauty of the world famous Mary Blair 9-story tall mosaic.

Even closer to the Poly is the Arcadia Games arcade located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You can again take the monorail but there is a walking/jogging path between the two resort hotels that clocks in at about 15 minutes. Located on the ground floor of the main building, the entrance is next door to the Gasparilla Island Grill, which is the Grand Floridian's quick-service restaurant. And don't forget your refillable drink mug as it will work at all three resorts!

Enjoy your dream hotel, Danelle, and We'll See You Real Soon!
