Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laura! We are so happy to answer your first question and help you create magic for your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Your little one must be so excited to spend her holiday at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Some of my favorite memories were made while visiting when my daughter was as young as your child.
There is so much for kids to see and do, and seeing the magic through their eyes is truly special.
All children under the age of 3 must be included in
dining reservations even if they do not have to pay and are welcome to share a meal with their parents or help themselves at buffet-style restaurants. Including them in the reservation is important for the restaurant to plan your seating accordingly and prepare a table that can comfortably accommodate your family, especially when you consider that families with small kids sometimes need high chairs. Safety is also very important so the restaurant needs to plan for that as well. If Cast Members at the restaurant ask how old your daughter is that is fine, in fact this has happened a couple of times with me and my family and it is not a problem, they might just want to confirm her age. If you added her to your "Family and friends list" in
My Disney Experience and then to your dining party, they will probably be able to see that she is under the age of 3 on the reservation.
Moms Panel tip: Don’t forget that you can start making advanced dining reservations up to 180 days before your visit! In my opinion, the fastest and most convenient way to book your favorite restaurants is by using the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
Thank you for sending a question our way, Laura. I hope this helps you while planning and that you continue to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
