Do you really save money by buying a dining plan? We have 3-five year olds, my husband and myself and are not big eaters. We have tried two different plans previously and I really cannot tell if we are saving or not. We are annual pass holders. Thanks.

    Hi Nancy!

I'm not a big fan of the Disney Dining Plans.  Some guests do save a lot of money, some not so much, and some actually spend more by being on a dining plan!  It really comes down to what restaurants will be visited and what menu items will be selected.  Only you know how your family dines.  I recommend visiting the independent website AllEars.Net.  There you can see the menus for the various Table Service and Quick Service restaurants, including prices.  Then you can determine if a Disney Dining Plan is the right thing for you!  The team at All Ears does a great job keeping their information up to date!

By the way, I am a huge fan of the Tables in Wonderland dining discount card.  It gives you 20% off at Table Service restaurants and is available for Annual Passholders.  It has saved me a lot of money over the years.  It's also extremely flexible.  You might look into it.

Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any more questions!
