Greetings, Crystal, and welcome to planDisney! I love that you're interested in becoming a Magic Key holder. There's something extra magical about visiting the Disneyland Resort, knowing that your next trip is on the horizon. I'm happy to share some information that may help your Magic Key dreams come true!
Crystal, as you mentioned, the Imagine Key and Enchant Key are not available for sale at this time. We don't know when sales will resume. We do know, however, that these passes are available for sale periodically, so keep an eye out! Generally, an announcement will be made on the
Disneyland Magic Key Instagram account, along with a note added to the
Disneyland website a week or two before sales resume. The passes most recently became available in August 2025, and sales were paused in October 2025.
The
Believe Key and
Inspire Key are currently on sale, but sales could be paused at any time. If you're open to either of these passes, you can compare the benefits
on the Magic Key page of the Disneyland website. With the Believe Key and Inspire Key, you'll notice fewer blockout dates, complimentary Disney PhotoPass digital downloads, and the ability to hold more reservations than the other two pass types. Additionally, parking is included with the Inspire Key.
If you decide that you want to wait to get the Imagine Key or the Enchant Key, you can consider taking advantage of a
special ticket offer for California Residents. For $83 per day, eligible Guests can purchase a 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket and use it for visits between January 1 and May 21, 2026, subject to theme park reservation availability. Even better, if the Magic Key pass you want goes on sale before the last day you use this ticket, you could
apply the value of the ticket toward the purchase of the Magic Key pass. Just be aware that, if you do this, your Magic Key's effective date would go back to the first day you used this ticket.
