We really have an open slate to plan our vacation date wise. We are looking at the first part of 2013 - but really open to anything from the beginning of year through May. When would you recommend we visit - looking at about 10 days and The Cabins.

Howdy Holly,

I love the Cabins at Fort Wilderness, so much so, that it is a family tradition to spend a week there every January! We usually travel down right after New Year's to catch the tail end of the Christmas decorations and to take advantage of the cooler temperatures and low crowd levels!

Really, anytime between New Year's Day and just before President's Day weekend are great times to visit. After President's Day there is a nice window until Spring Break where crowds are at a low. After Spring Break, the crowds start to increase, so I highly recommend planning a visit prior to this time.

I have stayed in the cabins MANY times...actually just spent a week there earlier this month! Please keep that in mind as you begin planning this magical adventure and be sure to head back here to ask me any questions you may think of as your trip approaches!
