Do we really need to make reservations for any restaurants? Or are we able to get in without reservations?

    Hello Mary,

Yes, reservations are available and highly recommended at many Walt Disney World Resort restaurants. You may make reservations by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.  Many Disney Table Service restaurants are very popular and book up quickly, so if you are interested in dining at a particular restaurant it is recommended to make reservations up to 180 days in advance to avoid any disappointments.  You can always "take your chances" and see if a restaurant you are interested in is available when you get there and it may be possible that they will have a table for you, but it has been my experience that all of the restaurants that I like to eat at are completely booked once I get there.  Sometimes I have been lucky as they have had a cancellation and are able to squeeze me in, but this does not happen often and cannot be counted on.

You do not have to make reservations for the Counter Service locations, only select Table Service and if you visit the following link to Dining & Reservations, you will get a better idea of the restaurants that they recommend reservations for at WDW, making your reservations on-line as well as good ideas for places to eat at.

    Best wishes,
    Brigitta
