    Is it really necessary to rent a golf cart at Fort Wilderness? If so, what is the cost?

    Hi Brenda,

    Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. I've stayed at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground for the first time, last May. I was worry about renting a golf cart too because it would cost me too much. I believe it's  currently costing about sixty dollars per day plus taxes. I cannot  grantee if the price is still correct, you better call directly to the Resort. But in the loop that I've stayed I was served by two internal buses lines, the Orange and Purple ones. And they were constantly passing and I did not see the point on spending that amount of money for a golf cart, unless you have a mobility issue person on your group. You are going to be fine if you decide not renting one. The number to rent one and get the latest and accurate info about price is  407 824-2742.
