Is it really necessary to book ADR's 180 days in advance? We aren't planning on eating at the castle (did that on previous visit), so do you think that 90 days would be far enough out? We are visiting in July. Love this site!! It has helped so much!

    Hi Cindy!

Thanks for stopping by!!  For me, booking those 'hard to get' reservations go on my "MUST BOOK AT 180 DAYS" List.  Dining at Cinderella's Royal Table would certainly qualify as one of those!  BUT, I also look at the time of year that my trip will be occurring...is it busy season, regular season, low season?  Is there a free dining promotion valid during my travel dates?  As a rule, I try to book as many as I can at the 180 day mark as possible, and then fill in everything else by 90 days out.  It offers the best in flexibility for planning, yet offers me the 'luxury" of getting the Advance Dining Reservations I REALLY want.

In your case (as July attendance is pretty steady), I'd try to book ALL of your "MUST EATS" at the 180 day mark so that you know you have those down, and then fill in from there, keeping flexibility in mind.

    Have a magical vacation!
