First, let me say a great big CONGRATULATIONS on your upcoming wedding! I can’t think of a better place to spend your Honeymoon than at the Walt Disney World Resort. My husband and I weren’t able to take a
Disney Honeymoon immediately after we got married. However, we did celebrate our first anniversary at Walt Disney World. It was such a magical experience, and we have so many beautiful memories that we cherish and now get to tell our children about!
One of the best parts about deciding to stay at the Walt Disney World Resort is that there are many different options for many different budgets. For our first anniversary, we stayed at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. We were able to extend our vacation by two nights because we saved money on our Resort hotel! We visited all four Theme Parks as well as enjoyed some very romantic dinners. Our favorite location was
Le Cellier Steakhouse in EPCOT. There we were treated like royalty, and so many came to congratulate us! Make sure to book a romantic evening out on the town. Stroll World Showcase at EPCOT and grab a glass of Rosa Regale in Italy.
While there technically aren’t any newlywed perks, I do highly recommend mentioning that you are celebrating your Honeymoon on your reservation. You never know who may notice and grant you a little pixie-dust! Once you arrive, either speak to the Cast Member checking you in at your Resort hotel or stop at Guest Services and let them know you are celebrating. They often will give you a pin to wear during your stay. Our fabulous “Mouse-keeping” cast member left us the most adorable autographed photo of Mickey and Minnie Mouse in their wedding attire. We also were lucky enough to have our server at
Chefs de France bring over a delicious dessert as congratulations! While these pixie-dusted moments aren’t guaranteed, you never know what magic will come your way!
