We really love everything Disney, but especially the deluxe resorts. We've not yet tried them all, but we're close! :D Do you have a favorite among them? What makes that one so great?

Hi Heather! I have been coming for a long time (I am the grandmother and remember the opening) and am a very, very lucky person in that I have been able to try all the deluxe resorts over my many years of visiting Walt Disney World.  My favorite has actually changed several times.  For many years we enjoyed the Grand Floridian because my family loved to hear the music in the Grand Lobby and it was close to the Magic Kingdom.  As our children grew older we found ourselves visiting EPCOT and the Hollywood Studios more often and then changed to stay at the Yacht Club, Beach Club, and Boardwalk resorts.  The wonderful perk for these resorts is that you can actually walk to two of Disney's four parks.  The International Gateway to EPCOT is just a few minutes away and the Disney Hollywood Studios can be reached by a path along the water (about a mile long) or a water taxi.  We love not having to rely on busses for everything.
You can find some comparisons and details by going to the website,
