Hi! I am really interested in the Everest Challenge, could you give me a little more detail on the types of obstacle challenges that will be involved?

Hi Dawn!  The Expedition Everest Challenge is so much fun!  It is a 5K with obstacles and also a scavenger hunt, all at the Animal Kingdom.  The obstacles change every year, but some examples from the past are:
Walls to climb over, nets to crawl under, beams to walk on, hay bail hurdles and also some tires to go through.  With the scavenger hunt part, there is actually a little more distance to it than just a 5K, but it is all tons of fun.  One year it rained a lot, so it became a mud run as well!  Here is link to the Expedition Everest Challenge on runDisney's website for more information and dates.  My boys are wanting to do it so they can get the cool "compass" medals!  Let me know if you have any other questions!
