I am really hoping to see World of Color on September 30th and enjoy the dessert party but no shows are listed after September 8th. Is there any hope?

    Hello, Sara!

Welcome back to planDisney. I am glad you sent your question to us. My family's favorite evening experience is the World of Color Dessert Party! With tasty treats, chairs, and a fantastic view of the show, the World of Color Dessert Party is the perfect way to end a fun-filled day at Disneyland Resort!

I have been keeping an eye on the World of Color Dessert Party calendar because I also hope to make reservations for my family's upcoming vacation. I do not currently see availability after September 8, 2024. I hope that reservations will be released soon! Dining reservations can usually be made up to 60 days in advance on the Disneyland Resort website. However, sometimes it takes longer to finalize performance schedules, and reservations are not available exactly 60 days ahead of time. I have been unable to make dining reservations at the 60-day mark many times. I recommend checking the World of Color Dessert Party calendar daily to see if reservations are released.

For now, have you thought about booking a Fantasmic! Dining Package? Fantasmic! is a phenomenal show at the top of my family's "must-watch" list during every Disneyland vacation. Watching Mickey Mouse use the power of his imagination to overcome his fears is inspirational, and the final scene of Fantasmic! always brings a tear to my eye. My favorite option is the Blue Bayou Restaurant Dining Package. Eating a delicious meal and waving to Guests as they begin their journey on Pirates of the Caribbean is a unique experience! I also like the River Belle Terrace - Premium Package, which includes a multi-course dinner before you watch Fantasmic! from your table. Both are fun (and tasty!) experiences!

Sara, I hope World of Color Dessert Party reservations become available for your upcoming trip. Please reach out to planDisney again if you have other questions.
