I really want to go to the Hoop Dee Doo show on our upcoming trip to Orlando this February. My husband thinks it will be "hokey." Any suggestions of what I can do to convince him it's worth it. We have been to quite a few character meals.

Hello Diane!  My husband also wasn't too keen on giving the Hoop-De-Doo a try.  But after our many visits, we finally went during our 2007 vacation.  We had a fantastic time.  Was it corny?  Yes!  Was it loads of fun?  Yes!  And the food was pretty good too.  Although we had a great time, my husband has no desire to go back (I guess some husbands are just like that!).  Lets just say our table got a little too much attention for his liking and he didn't enjoy being part of the show.  However, the kids and I would go back in a heartbeat and we will one day soon..and when we do, I'm sure my husband will come along for some fun.

My feeling is everyone should try it once.  It's a very upbeat and fun atmosphere.  After the show, guests couldn't stop talking (and singing!) about the show as we road the boat back to Magic Kingdom.  I'm not sure what I could say to convince him for you though...would pretty please work?  :)
