I am really excited about our up coming trip to Disney World, and want my 6 yr old son to be able to experience everything! Especially character dining. Are there any resturants or resorts that have character dining with Buzz Lightyear and Woody?

    Hi Lisa!

I'm so excited for you to be planning your Walt Disney World vacation! I, too have a 6-year old, and can understand the need to do and see everything. Currently, Buzz and Woody are not dining with guests, but you CAN find them at select meet and greet spots throughout Walt Disney World.

I am loving the new features of the My Disney Experience APP, now available for download. Doing so will allow you to locate up to date times of where to find your little guy's FAVORITE characters! As an example, if I look right now I see Buzz Lightyear and Woody will be meeting guests at the Splash Mountain Exit Courtyard from 4:10 to 4:40 p.m. today in Magic Kingdom.

Once you download the APP to your smartphone, click the "Explore" icon, then "Characters." Isn't technology the best?

You may also want to check out Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Booking an Advanced Dining Reservation here will allow your son to meet his favorite Disney Junior characters while the adults enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch buffet. Park admission would be required.

With a Toy Story fan, I wouldn't miss Buzz LIghtyear's Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom, or Toy Story Mania! at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I'm limited in space, Lisa, but I'd be happy to provide more tips to infinity and beyond, as you plan your MAGICAL vacation.
