I am really confused as to where to start planning for my Disney Trip. I wanted to select each Park for a day in advance so that we do not miss out the fireworks and the parades they have for each park, but it is difficult to get this information online.

    Hi Parin,

There are so many wonderful activities to enjoy at Walt Disney World.  It is easy to see why many feel overwhelmed by the planning of these vacations.  But that is why the Moms Panel exists.  We're here to demystify the experience and even make it fun.

Finding the schedules for fireworks and parades in each of the Disney theme parks is actually pretty easy.  Just go to the www.disneyworld.com website and then click on the theme park of your choice under the "parks" menu.  Let's start with the Magic Kingdom as an example.  After you click on "Magic Kingdom" from the drop-down menu, select "calendar" from the list of options that appears in the lower left portion of the screen.  Choose the month you plan to travel.  Then click on the number on the calendar for each day you plan to be at the Magic Kingdom. For instance, if you'll be there on the fifth, click on the "five" on the calendar.  A detailed schedule of events (including parades and fireworks) will appear.  Currently, this information is available for travel dates now through April 2012.

Let us know, Parin, if there is any additional information you'd like to have as you plan your amazing Disney adventure.  We'd be happy to help.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
